ASUS provides the VG248QG for inexperienced players. It’s basically a better ASUS VG248QE with a faster refresh rate (165Hz) and VRR support. G-SYNC is only available if you have an NVIDIA graphics card. It has excellent motion handling and low input lag, resulting in a responsive gaming experience that should appeal to the majority of gamers. It works best when viewed head-on in a well-lit room due to its limited viewing angles and low contrast ratio. The 24-inch screen with 1080p resolution is adequate for most gamers but may be too small for some people’s needs when it comes to productivity.
Style
The basic design of the ASUS VG248QG is similar to that of other ASUS gaming monitors, albeit with larger bezels. The back is intended for gamers, and the front is black with red accents. The screws are hidden behind rubber caps.
Ergonomics
The ergonomics of the ASUS VG248QG are excellent. A wide swivel range and the ability to rotate into portrait mode in either direction are useful features for a low-cost monitor.
High Construction and Design Standards
The ASUS VG248QG 24’s build quality is far superior to that of other low-cost displays. The build quality of the plastic is reassuring, and the minimal flex in the bezels and back panel is unobtrusive. Furthermore, the stand does an excellent job of holding the screen in place, and the ergonomic adjustments are dependable. When the stand is moved to a higher or lower position, the distance between the screen and the viewer changes. The ASUS VG248QG’s back is made of plastic and has etched designs. Both sides have vents, and the right side of the back has a Kensington lock. The back of the stand has a hole for cord routing. Despite taking up a lot of desk space, you should be able to fit your computer’s keyboard and mouse in front of it.
Inputs
The ASUS VG248’s 1080p resolution, on the other hand, compensates for the fact that its HDMI input only supports HDMI 1.4 bandwidth rather than HDMI 2.0, and the monitor’s DVI input is one of the few available. You can use the speakers by connecting an auxiliary cable from your computer to the monitor and using the audio input and analogue output.

The accuracy is remarkable after calibration. The colour temperature is very close to our target of 6500 K, and any remaining colour and white balance inaccuracies are imperceptible to the naked eye. However, no changes were made to the gamma, and the scenes are now a little too bright.
